Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
Central Ohio Youth for Christ (COYFC) has been successfully meeting the physical, social, and emotional needs of handicapped students in Columbus City Schools through our No Barriers Allowed (NBA) Program since 1994. NBA offers disabled youths the opportunity to benefit from competitive athletics, group activities, Bible studies, and caring adult mentors. The goal of NBA is to encourage positive peer group formation and relationships with trained adults, while preparing handicapped teens to live independent, contributing, fulfilled lives.
