Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)

The overarching purpose of all counseling and support services is to see the irreducible needs of the child of an unplanned pregnancy placed first in the values and choices of their expectant and/or new parents. We have observed that when parents are encouraged to place their children’s needs first, they draw from natural instincts to parent well. We provide physical help where needed and emotionally support their decisions to change choices that have lead to destructive or defeating patterns. The parents are then empowered to continue to parent their children well even after they leave our program.
