Change Process: (self-reported)

Most program participants begin to think and act less selfishly. The health of close family relationships and the relationship with their child become a priority in their decision making. They determine, acknowledge and embrace their personal value system as the basis from which they determine options for decisions and then make decisions about their present and future goals. They begin to see the importance and value of developing connections with people in the community of like value and belief systems for the support of their nuclear family. They find and engage with churches or other support systems for emotional support and positive peer relationships.
