Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
The Yarn Program exists to build a bridge of hope and understanding between Native and non-Native people, while helping traditional Elder weavers to sustain themselves in their homes located in remote areas of reservation. This program also helps Elders pass on the art of weaving to the next generation.
