Change Process: (self-reported)

B.A.B.E.S. continues to live up to its name - Believer's Assisting Babies Experiencing Stress. Our mission is encompassed in three simple words, alleviation, re-direction and support. Participants have said that B.A.B.E.S.,Inc.has been a "life saver" for them; providing no-cost respite care when the struggles and difficulties of parenting get to be too much to handle alone and counting to ten is not effective. Some have said our non-conventional assistance & hours (11:30 -10PM-Mon-Th) has been a "blessing". Those invididuals seeking to change their lives through education have found our academic program - Thinking Cap, helpful and they have appreciated the emotional support as well. Our experience has seen changes in the family dynamic as communication has improved between the parents and subsequently the child(ren). The fact that our parents can get their services in one place-including their mental health needs met, has been advantageous and virtually eliminated the stigma of seeking professional mental health assistance.
