Outcomes & Measures: (self-reported)

Outcome 1
The sexual integrity team exists to encourage students to remain abstinent until marriage.

Measure
The students complete evaluations at the end of every presentation. During that evaluation, students are asked the status of their sexaul activity and if the presentation challenged their mindsets.

Outcome 2
The sexual integrity team exists to challenge the mindset of many of the youth in our community. We live in a culture that demonstrates the sex outside of marriage is normal and even expected: We desire to challenge that mindset.

Measure
Each student hears a challenging presentation. Following that presentation, evaluations are completed asking students if the presentation casused them to reconsider their former opinions.

Outcome 3
The sexual integrity team exists to allow opportunities for conversation about sexuality. Sexuality is often times a very uncomfortable topic, yet it is very important that young people have opportunities that are safe to discuss it.

Measure
Classroom participation is encouraged during the presentation. The student's thoughts and perspectives are encouraged and appreciated. The presentation creates a safe environment for kids to discuss sexuality. We have seen that classroom participation is strong during our presentations. In addition, kids are given individual opportunitites to discuss sexuality wih team members.

Outcome 4
It is the goal of the sexaul integrity team to have individual or small group mentoring times with students.

Measure
A few students (or former students) are currently involved in this type of relationship with members of the sexual integrity team. We have found those relationships to be life transforming -- in the area of sexuality, as well as many other life areas.

Outcome 5
The sexual integrity team desires to create a program that is inviting for new students and classrooms to particiate in.

Measure
The number of students and classrooms hearing the presentation is increasing every year, so new students and classrooms are able to participate in it.

Change Process: (self-reported)

It is our desire to see women, teens and unborn children in our community reach their fullest potential. Physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met through the sexual integrity program. This aspect of our ministry focuses on prevention. By encouraging young people to choose abstinence until marriage, we are preventing unplanned pregancies and, therefore, abortions. In addition to this aspect of our ministry perserving life, we are also guarding young people from unwanted sexally transmitted illnesses. Following the sexaul integrity team presentation, students are asked to complete an evaluation. Many of the students share that they intend to remain abstinent until marriage. Other students share with us the program caused them to think and reconsider their current choices. We live in a culture that says sex outside of marriage is normal and often times expected. It is our desire that challenge that mindset amoungst the youth in our community. The need for this type of education is very needed!
