Board Activities

  • Formally reviews the performance of the chief executive officer at least once every two years.
  • Formally approves the budget.
  • Ensures that arrangements with outside fund raising firms are made in writing.
  • Receives information about the financial arrangements with such firms and, if applicable, the anticipated portion of the gross proceeds that goes to the organization.
  • Has formally approved a conflict of interest policy and regularly monitors it to ensure adherence.
  • Receives, at least quarterly, the organization's financial statement.

Change Process: (self-reported)

From the first interview to see if the participants would benefit from our program we tell them what they can expect from us to equip them to change. We tell them what we will provice for them during their 12 month stay. The four things provided are listed below.

1. Education - they attend two classes per day Monday through Thursday, as well as a chapel service Monday through Saturday, a church service on Sunday. They also attend an abuse recovery group such as Celebrate Recovery which is a Christian based twelve step prpogram. The classes include rebuilding their life using the book of Nehemiah, foundations of the faith, Search for Significance, Boundaries, etc.
