Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
To reach the struggling adddict on the streets of Baltimore City with the gospel of Jesus Christ while providing a counseling and referral service to detox centers, hospitals, and mission programs that accept such clients. Also to provide literature in the form of a 67 page book entitled "Grace Overcomers Addiction Ministry", In addition to this we conduct 2 meetings in the area, one at the local church level and the other at our address in Baltimore City. We also counsel people coming out of prison and provide sound spiritual counsel. We also encourage the writing of poetry and testimonies as a means to deal with the frustrations of living clean and sober. If we are funded, it would allow the director to spend more time at the center, which is rent free to us, and provide more services.
