Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
The purpose of Angela Hospice Bereavement Care is to provide one-on-one counseling and group support to assist individuals through a healthy grieving process. Staff members employ attentive listening as they set a foundation for clients to adapt, change, and learn to cope with their loss. Angela Hospice respects the autonomy of each individual, and strives to help clients reach their personal goals for their grief journey, while developing a healthy sense of self. All services are provided free-of-charge to hospice families and to the community at large.
