Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
Volunteer Community Service Program provides juveniles and young adults the opportunity for community service instead of paying fines or serving time. Local judges and probation officers refer misdemeanor offenders. The goal is to give the referred offenders the opportunity to observe positive behavior as well as give back to the community and save taxpayers money by not being incarcerated.
