Change Process: (self-reported)

Parents often come to the program overwhelmed, and often misinformed about the rearing of children, how to maintain a healthy relationship or what a healthy, loving relationship is. Through nurturing, education, mentoring and respite we've found that our participants have: a more positive self image and increased self worth, a deeper appreciation for family and methods by which to deal with the difficulties of being young parents. There is a greater sensitivity to children and subsequent positive family environment.
