Program Mission Statement: (self-reported)
The goal of the Rug Show and Sale is to provide economic opportunity to impoverished Navajo Elders who can no longer maintain livestock to provide food and income to them. The program also provides an opportunity for cultural exchange/education between Native and non-Native people.
