Change Process: (self-reported)

Business outcome: the AMEN participant completing a business plan, being funded, and then successfully operating the business. Personal outcome: Many personal changes that both the AMEN participants and staff identify. These are mainly in the attitudinal area where participants recognize their God-given talents because they have become more assertive, able to express themselves, make decisions out of choice and not crisis, deal with the stress of life, relate better in the family, the job, the community, be more honest with themselves, practice honesty and integrity as a norm for life, develop and reach goals, stay focused, develop a living vibrant relationship with their Creator, face issues without folding, develop a positive, resilient, peaceful, patient, persistent stance that leads to consistent progress in all areas of their lives. While the above characteristics are not easily quantifiable, they are consistently documented in written work, evaluation forms, exit interviews, and tracking survey.
