Change Process: (self-reported)

The gift of mobility is a life-changing event for a disabled person.

Because disability types and complications vary widely, it is difficult to measure the level of change. Some disabled persons are enabled to hold a job, go to church, participate in family events, attend school, and even drive an adaptable vehicle. Others cannot do these things, but their lives are still greatly impacted.
